WBI Chinese Chinoiserie enameled porcelain lidded jar and plate. The round jar features a domed lid with a central opening. Both the jar and lid are decorated with polychrome floral and foliate motifs on a white ground exhibiting extensive crazing. The jar rests on a separate circular plate with a raised rim, also decorated with stylized fruits and leaves in pastel and earthy tones. Adhesive labels with the numbers “166” and “4” are present.
Condition report:
The jar and plate exhibit significant crazing throughout the white glaze. No chips, cracks, or repairs are readily apparent. Adhesive labels present.
