This lot includes a collection of Royal Doulton Series Ware plates and a serving dish. The top plate depicts the Bayeux Tapestry, with the inscription “HASTINGS A.D. 1066 BAYEUX TAPE”. The other plates feature varied designs, including one with a textured surface, another with hand-painted green foliage and purple elements, and a partially visible plate with a multi-colored patterned rim. The rectangular lidded serving dish is decorated with hand-painted figures and stylized floral motifs in a cream glaze with green banded borders. There is a visible chip on one corner of the serving dish and some surface wear to the collection.
