This lot comprises four philatelic items. The first is a British First Day Cover (FDC) from July 15, 1972, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the King’s Cup Air Race at Wycombe Air Park. It features an image of a Gloster Grebe aircraft and a British Legion stamp, addressed to Birmingham. The second is a British FDC from April 10, 1976, celebrating the Silver Jubilee and Badminton Horse Trials, featuring a Stephenson’s Locomotion stamp, addressed to Amersham. The third is an Austrian FDC from August 22, 1979, featuring “Grossglockner” and traditional figures, addressed to Austria. The fourth is a sealed plastic packet containing a sheet of DDR (East German) stamps depicting “Sowjetische Weltraumerfolge” (Soviet Space Achievements). All items are housed in clear plastic protective sleeves with dark backing boards and appear to be in good, well-preserved condition.
