Two yellow metal pendants, presumed lockets, housed in their original presentation box from Bright & Son, Diamond Merchants, of Scarborough. The larger, oval pendant features a monochrome photographic portrait of a young man within a black enamel border inscribed “HIS COUNTRY CALLED HE ANSWERED”. The smaller, circular pendant has a decorative border and opens to reveal a locket compartment containing a faint image. Both pendants have suspension bails. The deep red hinged box has a white silk or satin lining imprinted with the retailer’s name and address.
Condition report:
Good overall condition with typical surface wear and patination consistent with age.
