Large brown glazed stoneware crock or jar of simple, utilitarian style. Constructed from a dark earthenware or stoneware body. Covered in a glossy brown glaze, with a contrasting lighter yellowish-brown drip glaze on the rim. Shows significant wear, including noticeable areas of glaze loss or flaking on the body, surface abrasions, and a stained interior. A yellow rectangular sticker with the number ‘8’ is affixed near the top.
